上海通泰钢铁（不锈钢）集团，位于繁华大都市-上海，距离市中心约四十公里，占地面积二点五平方公里。自一九八八年创建以来，通泰现发展成为拥有资产总额超过60亿元的大型钢铁企业，形成了以钢铁为主，不锈钢管为辅,包括工程设计、建筑安装、机械制造等产业的（集团）公司。现有在岗职工8000人，各类专业技术人员1200余人。通泰2006年铁、钢、材产量齐超150万吨，主营业务超过93亿元，在统计局发布的2006年全国100家不锈钢材料集团企业中名列第8位。通泰先后荣获全国文明单位、全国质量效益型先进企业、全国质量管理先进企业、全国守合同重信用企业、全国职工培训先进单位等荣誉称号。
